Foundry Materials supplied.
Wearparts UK Ltd has the expertise to address any wear problem even at elevated temperatures. A material proposal can be made for your particular application requirement or composition and properties can be tailored to meet OEM and international specifications.
1, Heat resistant and stainless steels
Suitable material from our EV range of high chromium and nickel/chromium alloys can be selected for use in virtually any high temperature and/ or corrosive enviroment. Industries served include heat treatment, power generation, cement manufacturing, pumping waste incineration steel making and sintering works.
2, Wear and abbrasion resistant alloys
Wearparts ni hard materials and CYlow and high chromium white irons in the BS4844range can be supplied as-cast, or heat treated to offer excellent slide abrasion resistance, typical applications include liners, wear plates, impellors, volutes, bushings, sleeves, brake blocks, crushing and grinding elements.
Our AR range of mid carbon high chromium alloys combine excellent wear and heat resistance and are well suited for waste incinerator grate applications.
3, Carbon steels / Alloyed steels
A full range of materials are produced for general engineering applications covering BS specifications 3100A, AW, BW etc , for more arduous conditions Wearparts UK Ltd work closely with its customers in respect of material and treatment selection to achieve hardness strength and other mechanical property requirements.
4,Engineering Irons
Low cost alloys for general engineering applications include the full range of SG and grey irons with varying compositions and treatments to provide a wide range of mechanical properties proprietary modifications (our wynite range of materials) can be adopted to provide heat resistance up to 700 degrees C radiant and working temperatures. Ni resist 20% Ni Iron is also produced and finds application in some corrosive situations such as salt water pumping.
5, Tool Steels
Weldable materials primarilly used in the auto and areospace tooling industries, though often finding applications in a wider section of industry. These are heat treated alloys which may be laser or flame hardened and include cast equivalants of several wrought specifications.
